My tribute to the news of Gorillaz ending. They were such an inspiring and innovative group both musically and art wise, as my friend said, it really is the end of an era. I still remember watching “19-2000” on TRL and being so amazed at what I was seeing. It was brilliant, wasn’t it?? The music was amazing and the art only furthered the love I have for Gorillaz. I hope to see more from Damon and Jamie in the future, regardless if they work together or not.

i cant believe this im so fucking sad

I thought it was common knowledge that Phase 3 would be the last phase of the Gorillaz?  I remember hearing that back in Phase 2.  Don’t be sad, enjoy everything they did.  Everything should come to an end some time. 

Though I am crushed, I feel so lucky that I got to have so many years of my life filled with their art and music.

I’m also so glad that I got to see them on their last concert in Minnesota.

Cheers Gorillaz, Damon, and Jamie my life wouldn’t be the same without you guys.

And though you are finished, you will be immortal in the lives of millions.
